Public Safety Day for families with autistic/neurodivergent individuals

This free event will be held at Milan Area Fire Department (45 Wabash Street) on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Drop in between 10:00 and 11:30 (children) and 11:30 - 1:00 (older children, teens, young adults) to:
Explore police and fire vehicles
Meet police officers and firefighters
Interact with therapy dogs
Experience a mock pullover (what to expect if your vehicle is pulled over by police)
Learn about resources for families

10:00-11:30 : best for preschool and elementary ages
11:30-1:00 : best for older children, teens, young adults
We do not have set ages. If you have older children, you can choose the group that works best for you.
